Hard Habit to Break

For quite some time now, (maybe since I graduated from school), I am always having a hard time starting my day early. My earliest wake-up time would be 11:00am or 12:00 in the afternoon. And, I am not proud of it.

Not that I'm lazy in the morning, its just that I'm having a hard time sleeping. Anyway, I am trying to fix my sleeping habits by doing what I used to advice my other friends who are facing the same dilemma as I do. I tell them the, prolly, first quote most of us knew as a child: "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man happy and wise!"

I seriously want to reprogram my body clock. I keep telling myself to go to bed early so I can wake up early but I just can't do it. Poor me.

In a planner given to me by my dear bosses when I was still having my internship, it has a "Habit Tracker" page. It is divided into two columns: Habit to Start or Break on the left (wherein I have to write what habit I have to start or break) and the Tracker on the right which has 30 circles and I have to mark one circle whenever I achieved my habit or goal each day.

Belle De Jour Planner: Habit Tracker
According to the planner, it takes 21 straight days to make a habit. Whew! That's pretty tough.

One day waking up early for me is somehow a challenge, and for it to be a habit, I have to make it 21 days straight. Do I really have to wake up early?? Lol :))

In case I decide to wake up early every morning, I should  buy more alarms clocks to help me start and regain this habit. :)
