There's so much to remember and be grateful about in the year 2010.
In the year 2010, I graduated college with a degree in Bachelor in Broadcast Communication. I landed a job in one of the top networks in the country even before graduating. I had my real on-the-job-training (aside from my student internship I had in the same network) in my first show The Sweet Life aired in QTV 11. After which I had the chance to write for the show when one of the writers took his vacation for a month. I was able to write more or less 8 episodes and 1 portion buy. Thanks to all the TSL staff. They were the ones who started building my working attitude. And, I also want to thank them for the trust they gave me. Aside from writing, I got to supervise ENG shoots as well acting as SP.
When I felt that I already know everything I need to learn in this type of job, I started seeking out for another show. Love ni Mister, Love ni Misis welcomed me with open arms. The first few months were, lets say, terrible? The pressure of working in a daily program aired in GMA, plus the hectic schedule and tight deadlines were the major problems. It took time, till I got used to it.
In 2010, I was able to help out my parents with the expenses, which I'm very proud of. After graduating, I told myself "Its payback time." And I'm glad I was able to do it on my first year in work.
Here's a confession: In the last quarter of 2010, I started thinking of transferring to a new job, something lighter and not too stressful. But as I look back, I realized how blessed I am to have all of these experiences given to me. Thank you Lord. Thanks for a great year! Cheers!
Stronger than ever. Bring it on 2011!
